Juried Artist Registry Application

Overview

Biennially, the Arkansas Committee of NMWA invites Arkansas artists who identify as women to apply for the juried Artist Registry. Original work in all media is eligible. The invited juror for the 2021-2023 cycle was Ann Prentice Wagner, Ph.D., the Jackye and Curtis Finch, Jr. Curator of Drawings at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.

The selected artists will be featured in the Registry for two years. Artists included in our biennial Arkansas Women to Watch exhibition are automatically in the Registry during the concurrent cycle, as is the recipient of the annual Artist Award. The next application cycle will open in Summer of 2023.

This Registry Accepts:

  1. Applications from artists who identify as women who live in Arkansas at the time of submission or are native to the state.
  2. Original art work in all media.
  3. Appropriately-sized 2D images, 600 pixels (on the longest side) at 72 dpi, that accurately represent the art work (still or screen shots for video/film).
  4. The next application cycle will open in the summer of 2023.
