My ceramic installations are inspired by the facades I watched crumble as I navigated my journey into adulthood. Curating a space for my pieces has been equally important for the work I've been creating. Through this process I am able to feel a sense of belonging by building a world that my pieces belong in. My work is often a reflection of my memories; things I used to block out I now actively hold space for in my studio practice. The surface treatment of my work reflects my inner world. Obsessive mark making, detailed line work, and pops of color all come together as I build these figurative shrines of memory. My installations are a tribute to the resilience of the human spirit, offering a path towards understanding, healing, and connection.
