A Personal Statement: Arkansas Women Artists
In 1991, the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts sponsored the exhibition A Personal Statement: Arkansas Women Artists. The exhibit was on display at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock in late 1991 and at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C., from March 24 to July 19, 1992. The Little Rock exhibition featured works by 20 Arkansas women artists. Juror Grace Glueck, an art reporter, writer, editor and critic long-associated with The New York Times selected 10 artists for the Washington exhibition. This publication is the catalog for these exhibitions.
