My practice centers on portraiture as a site of extended connection. Each work begins with a conversation, hours spent sitting with a subject, listening, observing, and allowing presence to unfold. This durational exchange is integral to my process; it creates a space of mutual regard in which identity is not imposed but revealed. Through this approach, I explore how portraiture can hold the intimacy of encounter and reflect the complexity of being seen.

More than mere likeness, I seek to channel the relational shifts, narrative fragments, and emotional textures uncovered through dialogue.

Connecting to others is the primary motivation. These portraits hold traces of encounters, narrative resonance rather than static surface, transforming each conversation into visual form. In this way, portraiture becomes an act of mutual seeing and creative communion.
