I am an interdisciplinary visual artist whose work investigates events and personal stories in the form of painting and drawing. My practice is driven by curiosity and grows from a strong desire to document fragments of our human experience that often go unseen. I strive to highlight stories of resilience and transition from communities and individuals whose perspectives are underrepresented. I'm especially drawn to the worn, damaged, and mundane elements that speak quietly but powerfully about time, memory, and survival. Most recently, my work has focused on the aftermath of tornado damage in my Little Rock neighborhood, using observational drawing to reflect on the physical and emotional impact of environmental disruption.
