I am a documentary photographer, photojournalist, and fine artist exploring layered narratives of identity, environment, and culture. As a current artist in the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts Registry, I'm committed to creating work that blends visual storytelling with artistic intention. My series Queen documents drag performers in the Deep South through bold, intimate portraits, while MIDWAY captures the behind-the-scenes grit of carnival life in black and white. During the pandemic, I created Walks with Wren, experimenting with still lifes made from natural and found objects. Un/Natur/al reflects on the overlap of the natural world and human influence.

Across all my work, I explore the concept of layers-literal, emotional, and symbolic. My images invite viewers to pause, look closer, and consider both what is seen and what is quietly hidden beneath the surface.
