Welcome to our new website, your gateway to an ever-growing number of Arkansas women artists and to the internationally recognized museum in Washington, D.C. whose name we bear: the National Museum of Women in the Arts. We’re so glad you’re here, because the arts mean nothing without an audience.

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA) announces a week-long celebration welcoming the community to the newly reimagined museum. The festivities begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Are you ready for the next stop for the Arkansas Women to Watch 2023 exhibition? This statewide tour is currently at the South Arkansas Arts Center in El Dorado, Ark., and will be until April 27.

More than two years after it closed the doors to its Classic Revival building near the White House in order to undergo a $67.5m renovation, the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C., revealed on Feb. 15 that it will reopen on Oct. 21.
